Megalong Valley with its lustful pasture land.
It was a sunny, Sunday afternoon and we just came from Mount Vitoria Museum in Blue Mountains New South Wales when we drove down to the valley, unto the narrow and winding road. I was amazed at the awesome beauty of the valley and powerful scenery that I can’t resist to capture heaps of photos along the road and into its mountainous background as well as its huge farms, its great pasture lands for cows, sheep and horses. We also had a good lunch at the Megalong Tea Rooms located just before driving down the farmlands further and close to the Werriberri Lodge Holiday Cabins.
The valley attracts kids too.
Megalong Valley is simply magic while the view from the Hydro Majestic Hotel at Medlow Bath is breathtaking, a drive down into the valley itself is an unforgettable experience.

Sand Dunes in Anna Bay, New South Wales
What an awesome place to visit and enjoy a day! Experiencing a place fully laid out and bounded with fine sands was worth the day being there. Not only that it’s sandy but also close to a beach, a lovely beach where people adore and love to wade, gaze the horizon, and walk through!
There are two places of these sand dunes. One is in Stockton and in Anna Bay, both at Port Stephen in New South Wales. The former is a place for 4WDs driving and Quad bike adventures while the latter is for Sand Dunes Safaris wherein you’re given the chance to tour down the whole area including a deep pit of sand and sand boarding experience. You can drive a 4WD offshore of Anna Bay but not in the Sand Dunes Safaris because of unpredictable shallow water levels.
Sand Dunes Safari – camel rides is just one of the many great attractions.
Sand Dunes Safari – sand boarding, the great fun is in this attraction down at the middle of the dunes.
We arrived here around four in the afternoon and we saw the place lit with golden yellow as the sun sets at the horizon.
We were then at the sand boarding area right at the middle of the sand dunes during that time, the sand so fine that our bare feet felt how good they are, we felt we’re like children again, the sand brightly golden but we have to stop from here, the sun was setting off fast and we have to head home before darkness falls.
