It took me a lot of patience to capture a good shot of this bee. We were in a rose farm in Dural, New South Wales at that time when I noticed some roses attracted bees, bees that were perhaps hungry of the nectars. Initially, it was quite hard for me to get a better position, better close up, and a steady hand with quick focusing of my camera without distracting the bees, else they’ll be flying into another rose and away again from me. But there was one bee (this was the one) that got stuck up on a flower, just kept sucking the nectar until the time I took several photos. I was amazed when some photos turned out to be good and this one, I reckon was far better off compared to the others.
Capturing photos of insects demand patience but it pays off.
