It was our second year to attend the International Sand sculpting Championship held in Winsor, New South Wales, the first one was last year.
Last year, all the entries to the championship show was already done and ready for public viewing and judgement but this year it wasn’t due to bad weather, and so when it was now the time for all the entries for public viewing, most of them were still in the act of being completed by their respective sculptors or artists. I voted for the entry (above photo) to win but after judgement day, it didn’t get any place, and the photo below got the first place instead. With a passion for arts I admire and salute the sculptors especially those whose entries got awards and recognition in the competition. There were two Australians sculptors and all the rest were Europeans and Americans. By the way, the girl in the above photo is an American sculptor.
